Dawn Dawns with your Hands

Ahmad Chamlou, one of the greatest Iranian poets of the 20th century century, thus ends the poem he dedicates to Aida: “And the dawn wakes up with your hands.” His poem Aida in the Mirror* echoes the poem The eyes of Elsa and Chamlou thus resonate with Aragon, which he admire. This play of resonance between the works and between the artists is at the heart of the creative process implemented by Orphos with Maryam Imani.
This process would be nothing, however, if it were not about love, if the woman did not animate its movement and if, through her, the dawn did not come to light up the darkness of the world.
This series is a tribute and more: Orphos celebrates the light which happens as much as the beings who make it happen. Leaving to the light and to the artists their share of mystery, lovingly.
